She is his inspiration.
His eyes—through which he sees the world.
The music behind every note he creates.
She is what he is.
His childhood friend.
His unfinished puzzle—
the one whose name he still doesn’t know.
His First Fan
You’re so pure… like a baby,” he whispered, “You’re the missing piece of my heart. You said I could give you a name, right?”
“Yes!” Avani replied eagerly.
“Then I’ll name you… Meni. My Meni.”
“Meni!” she echoed softly, a gentle smile forming on her lips.
“Do you know what it means?” he asked, curiosity piquing.
She shook her head, her gaze steady on him, not releasing his hands from her face.
“Meni means destiny… you’re my destiny,” he said, a newfound confidence in his voice.
Avani’s eyes lit up with delight. “It’s my promise, Adi. No matter what we are or where we go, you’ll end up with me, with your destiny… and I’ll be your destiny.”
“Promise?” Aditya asked, hope creeping into his voice.
“It’s my promise!” she affirmed. “Remember this, Adi: your Meni will never break her promise.”
Aditya couldn’t help but smile brightly, the weight of the world lifting off his shoulders.
“Come on, let’s get to my room. It’s close by. If you stay out here like this, you’ll catch a cold,” Avani urged, concern lacing her words.
“It’s okay, I can manage. I’ll go home,” he replied, still reluctant to leave her side.
“Mr. Aditya Malhotra,” she teased, “you know sugar melts in water, right? So please, don’t walk in the rain. Otherwise, I’ll lose a sweet friend.”
“Are you saying I’m like sugar? Sweet?” Aditya chuckled, the playful banter lifting his spirits.
“Absolutely, you’re a genius, Adi!” Avani laughed, her voice bright and infectious.
“Shall we go?” she asked, ready to pull him along.
“Wait, Meni, listen…” he began, trying to gather his thoughts.
“I love this name you’ve given me,” Avani interrupted, her eyes sparkling with joy.
Aditya couldn’t help but smile wider,
His Destiny
Taking a deep breath, he spoke, his voice soft yet filled with emotion. “I hope you’re listening, Meni… Hello, Mumbai! This is Aditya, and I’m here today because of one person—Meni, my world, my reason to sing. Are you listening?”
He glanced down at his guitar, then back up, as if seeing only her face in the crowd. “This song… it’s for you, Meni. The first one I’m singing just for you, and because of you.”
With those words, he began to play, his fingers moving gently over the strings as the melody filled the room, each note carrying the emotions he’d never managed to say
Turning Into Love
The camera followed their every move, capturing the unspoken chemistry that lingered between them. Aditya caught up with her, grabbing her hand and pinning her against a nearby wall.
His face was mere inches from hers. His eyes flickered down to her lips, his intent unmistakable. She felt the intensity of his gaze, her own trembling lips betraying her unease and anticipation.
“Aditya…” she whispered again, her voice barely audible.
He leaned in closer, his breath warm against her face, his lips nearing hers.
“Cut!” the director’s voice rang out, breaking the spell.
Aditya and Avani blinked, coming back to reality. The room erupted in applause.
“Excellent! Absolutely phenomenal!” the director exclaimed, clapping his hands
